Where to eat at DLSU Taft?
September 9, 2008
“Saan tayo kakain?” is a question I haven’t heard for days now. Since I’m taking a term break for life aka. graduating this term, I moved back to our house, and left the confines of my dorm
..forever. Back to the question “Saan tayo kakain?”. My friends and I tried different ways to solve this problem. Believe me. Living in Taft for 4 years, you will sooner or later run out of places to eat.
So here is a mini list, for people who are new in Taft, living in dorms/condos and too lazy to cook, or those who just want to try something other than McDo or Yellowcab (I don’t even eat there because it’s expensive for me :\)
- KapeMoto
Where: 2nd floor, same building as Red Ribbon, 10Q, Tropical Hut, Starbucks
What: Japanese food!
Recommendations: Karaage (fried chicken), Gyoza (dumpling), Tamagoyaki (omelet), Hambagu (hamburger).
Comment: It’s one of my favorite places. Their set meals already include miso soup, salad, and RICE (all caps because of the huge serving and yummy).
Price Range: Set meals usually range from 90-100. Sulit sobra!
Busy Bee
August 29, 2008Only 6 days to go and Arashi Marks ARASHI AROUND ASIA 2008 will start :O
How I wish I can go to Japan XD Even if I have to bring a telescope to see them.
I looked up Kasumigaoka National Stadium in google earth. Its so big! O_O In the DVDs where they performed in tokyo dome, I heard a lag time between Arashi and their fans. I’m imagining how this will go XD They will be seeing Arashi do the “arashi arashi for dream” movement but they will hear it like 3 secs after XDDD hihi kidding.
Other AAA 2008 schedules:
October 11-12 Taipei Arena Taiwan
November 1-2 Olympic Park Fencing Stadium Seoul
November 15-16 Shanghai Grand Stage Shanghai
I want to gooooo!!!
Ohno and Aiba English Lesson
This is one of my favorite videos XD so funny~

and yeeey! first time I’ll try the ’split your post’ option. Hope it works like livejournal’s cut. One thing I think multiply lacks is that feature.
Pikanchi Double Secret Talk…. Jun tells Ohno to stop digging his nose (eeww!! XD)
Flock
August 28, 2008No I am not moving away after 30 mins of creating account here XD
Flock - the social web browser.
I saw my blockmate using it. She says its useful because she can get updates from different sites there. From what I saw she created a folder which contained youtube, multipy, and other sites which she visits frequently.
So curious me checked out their website and it actually says
Be informed when:
- Your friends post photos, videos or other updates
- Your favorite sites update content
- You have new messages and site notifications
Hmmm. I wonder what technology they actually use here? So much in the web these days. Need to catch up!!! Anyone else use flock? Is it really useful? Its nice that they provide installers for Linux
A new home
from multiply, to another multiply to this site. I keep on moving homes right?
I realized that I just to keep up with technolgy. Having a new home will “force” me to learn about new things XD Since I’ll be having more free time too, why not use it to learn new things right?
Here I will post about almost anything under the sun.
Topic on mind: Customizability in their blogs.
I think a lot of people want it. I think that is the main reason why I chose to create an account here in the first place. I’m too lazy to study codes now. But I will in the future.
A classmate told me about this site which offers drag and drop tools for customization. Why not try it right?
My next post will probably be about my experience here. I hope I’ll be really comfortable here and finally call it a new home
